4 Reasons to Have a Disney Wedding

Many girls have fancied themselves as a Disney princess, now it is time to say “I do” with a bibbidi bobbidi boo — and the folks over at Disney Fairytale Weddings & Honeymoons.

The magical minds over at Disney aren’t just wedding planner extraordinaires. They’re bonafide fairy godmothers, here to help you arrange a Disney wedding fit for a legit princess. (No royal lineage needed.)

1. A Location Fit for a Fairytale Love Story
Seriously, princess brides, could you think of a more magical place to start your happily-ever-after than at a Disney Resort? And with Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings & Honeymoons celebrating 25 years of weddings, honeymoons, and fantasy engagements in 2017, there’s no better time to begin your own fairytale in the spot where the classics all got their start. Sure Snow White, Cinderella, and Belle all beat you to it, but even their on-screen “I dos” ain’t got nothing on these over-the-top Disney nuptials!

2. You Can Have the Perfect Princess-Worthy Gown to Match
Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings & Honeymoons’ 25th anniversary got its kick-off during Bridal Fashion Week, with the unveiling of two new princess-approved wedding dresses to Alfredo Angelo’s Disney Fairy Tale Weddings Collection. Inspired by Mulan (right) and Pocahontas (left), the addition of these new gorgeous gowns mean that brides-to-be can now say “I do” in a wedding dress inspired by any of the 10 Disney Princesses. It’s “A Whole New World,” you guys!

3. Not to Mention Some Pretty Princess-Style Bling
Oh, and because no princess bridal ensemble is complete without a tiara (you could probably skip the totes impractical glass slippers), the Enchanted Disney Fine Jewelry Collection is releasing two new tiaras that perfectly match Disney’s Belle and Cinderella wedding dresses. Jiminy Cricket, this is big…

4. You Can Have the Most Enchanted Ceremony
And if that wasn’t enough to get you heading to the post office armed with “Be Our Guest,” wedding invites, a total reimagining of the Wedding Pavilion at Disney World in Florida is currently underway — which includes a new offering of nighttime nuptials through the Magic Kingdom Park After-Hours Experience, with weddings taking place right in front of Cinderella’s Castle after the park closes. Starting in January 2017, brides and grooms can say “I do” in front of Cinderella’s Castle once the park closes for the night, at around 11 p.m. (Obviously, it had to before midnight. #PrincessProblems)

Please say that we’re not the only ones who hear “So This is Love” playing in their heads…
