A Sweet Romance - Crystal Coast Wedding in North Carolina

Last year we were invited to explore one of the most beautiful east coast beach areas – the Crystal Coast in North Carolina. Alongside craft moguls, AC Moore, and tons of other incredibly wonderful vendors along the way, we witnessed the sweetest couple, Roni and Joe, recite their vows on the watersound among family and friends.

The team at AC Moore, in partnership with the Crystal Coast, literally gave away an entire wedding – all the entrants had to do was send in a creative video describing how creativity played a part in their relationship. Let me tell you that sweet Roni and Joe hands down won that! Not only is Roni already super cute and very creative herself, Joe brought the men of the world to shame for the moment when she described the sweetest things he’s done for her! You go JOE!

Before we even got to enjoy the wedding, we toured around the Crystal Coast, which connects the Emerald Isle to the cutest, most dainty town of Beaufort. From seeing wild horses (yes, I about fainted!) during paddlebording with Beaufort Paddle, to a little private beach bar on a pier hundreds of feet from the shore which was perfect for a rehearsal dinner drink, to incredible places to eat like Pescara… I fell in love. Oh, and I can’t forget to mention how much fun we had touring the sweet town of Beaufort via bicycle with Hungrytown Tours because all I could picture was the most fun bachelorette party or bridal party activity ever!

I could immediately see why this place was pure magic for a destination wedding and why couples entered this contest. The wedding was incredibly meaningful and sweet. Not only were Roni and Joe’s families unbelievably grateful, welcoming, and warm, I was able to get a third party perspective of how much those two meant to them. AC Moore worked with the couple on their wedding preferences – everything from colors, theme, the DRESS, decor, catering, music… literally everything. Below I have a little snapshot of their wedding. We had a wonderful time with the fellow media partners, the Z agency, AC Moore, and Crystal Coast. You know Wedding Sparrow adores perfectly curated details, but what means more to us it the love story. Roni and Joe are a match made in heaven and we are beyond glad they were able to celebrate the wedding of their dreams in such a beautiful place, they definitely deserved it.
