{Real Plus Size Wedding} Simple and Sweet Backyard Real Wedding | Laura Benitz Photography

It’s not every day that you come across a wedding that has the simplest elements to it but has the most elegant and chic feel.  This is wedding is definitely one of them. This wedding is from our Spring 2013 issue, check it out here. I decided to share it because it’s perfect for this time of year.  The bride’s dress is so airy and flowing, ideal for a summer or destination wedding to deal with the heat.

From the Photographer:  The bride created all if the decor herself. The groom cut a path through the woods and covered with cedar chips. The path led from the backyard to an open field where the ceremony was held. Rather than have a unity candle/sand, the bride and groom did a washing of the feet. The ceremony was very intimate with only immediate family and close friends.
