Happy weekend all, didn’t think we’d let you get through the weekend without treating you to a wedding did you? We’re not in the business of disappointing our readers, so after this morning’s M&S wedding cakes low-down, we thought we’d treat you with something to enjoy during the ad-breaks this Saturday evening. This is such a gorgeous wedding day – full of effortless elegance and smiles. I was pretty chuffed on opening my inbox to find that the photographer was Chris Spira as I just knew it would be a cracker. The first time I came across her amazing work was in one of my all time favourite Love My Dress features of Anna and Ralph’s glamorous day.
I was not disappointed. As I looked through nearly 200 amazing photographs I did wonder how Christina and Jonathan could possibly choose which ones would make it to the frames to grace their mantelpiece. The couple, who met in 2009 while studying in Göttingen, married on 25 July 2015 in Stadthagen, north Germany.

As an hispanophile, I have been known to gush about all things Spanish on many an occasion, particularly of their skills in designing an incredibly feminine and flattering wedding gown. Basaldúa, Cortana, Pronovias, Jesús Peiró to name but a few and of course, today’s designer of choice, Raimon Bundó. Christina chose the beautiful ‘Música’ gown with heavy lace and floaty tulle skirt.

All the bright and beautiful flower garlands, bouquets and flowers that adorn every part of the day were created by Hannover based florist Milles Fleurs.
