I can’t say it enough how great it is to see plus size brides really incorporating their loves, interests and personalities in their weddings and engagement sessions. Check out how this couple turned their love for horror movies into a special engagement session.

From the Photographer, Maria Appel Photography: Bridget met Ray around a year and a half ago and instantly feel in love over their love for horror movies, among other things. So, It was only natural for them to have a horror movie themed shoot for their engagement. She moved to his farm in North Carolina around 8 months ago, which is the location of the shoot. I am an old college friend and when I learned that this is what they wanted to do I flew in from Iowa to make their idea a reality. We had a blast doing this shoot. The three of us couldn’t be happier with the way it turned out! Enjoy!
